RT. REV. DR. MAXWELL GRANVILLE SILVA

We would like to THANK and PRAISE the LORD for our distinguished past pupil, RT. REV. DR. MAXWELL GRANVILLE SILVA, the Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo, on his 43RD PRIESTLY ORDINATION ANNIVERSARY, which falls today, the 25th of July 2024.

Bishop Maxwell Silva, was born on 27th of September 1953 at Willorawatte. He was ordained a Priest of the Archdiocese of Colombo on 25th of July 1981.

He was appointed as the Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo on 28th of November 2011 and was ordained on 11th of February 2012.

Whilst thanking him for his loving, selfless and dedicated service to Holy Mother the Church and the faithful for so many years, we would like to pray, that GOD will bless him abundantly and that HIS love and grace continue to nourish him for many more years to come.

May our Lordship be blessed with good health, strength, courage, wisdom and peace of mind always.
