Sebastianite champion shuttlers
Sebastianite champion shuttlers, MASTERS SHENUK THAVISHA SAMARARATHNE, THILINA RAJAKARUNA and THESATH SEMIKA RAJAPAKSHE, have being selected for the 8th Asian Under 18 School Badminton Championship – 2024, to be held from 25th of August 2024 to 2nd of September 2024, at Semarang, Indonesia, by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association.
A very significant factor in this tour contingent is that, there are THREE SEBASTIANITES amongst the 8 boys selected for the tour.
Those 8 boys and 8 girls were selected out of 16 boys and 14 girls, after a series of trial matches played on the 9th, 10th and 11th of July 2024 at the Police Headquarters, Narahenpita Badminton courts, under the guidance of Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association and the Sri Lanka Badminton Association.
Whilst congratulating them on getting selected, we would like to wish them showers and showers of all the richest, choicest and abundant graces and blessings of our Almighty from heaven above, coupled with all the necessary strength, courage, determination and motivation, to perform exceptionally well and thereby to keep the green, white and gold College flag flying high and high and much much above the rest.
