DR. LAHIRU KODITHUWAKKU

CONGRATULATIONS to our past pupil, DR. LAHIRU KODITHUWAKKU, on obtaining a GOLD MEDAL in Humanitarian.MBA from the Roxbourg Institute of Social Enterpreunership, Swizterland.

Dt. Ĺahiru did his Advanced Level examination in 2000 and is presently serving as a Medical Officer at the National Dengue Control Unit of the Ministry of Health.

He was the Head Prefect of the College for the year 2000 and also served as the Junior Head Prefect during the year 1994.

He created history by being the FIRST EVER and the ONLY Sebastianite to win an All Island Sinhala Speech Competition at a State Sinhala Literary Festival, by achieving that feat in the 1995 State Sinhala Literary Festival.

He was a member of the College Debating team and represented the College in athletics and cricket in Under 13 to Under 17 age groups and also served as the President of the College Science Society in 2000.

Apart from his MBBS, he also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sector Disaster Management and a Master of Science in Community Medicine.

A special word of appreciation is also due to Dr. Lahiru, who is always there to help the College, be it in dengue control, donating of equipment for the College lab, coordinating of old boys in the medical field to help the College or in whatever activity related to his profession. He was also in the forefront during the refurbishing of the main staff room, along with his batch mates of the Millenium Batch.

Whilst appreciating his achievement and commending him for his untiring efforts, we would like to wish him, showers and showers of all the richest, choicest and abundant graces and blessings of our LORD JESUS from heaven above, to fulfill all his dreams and ambitions in life and also to be successful in all his future endeavours.
